EP150 Durable Quality Heat Resistant Rubber Conveyor Belt
EP Nylon Fabric Rubber Conveyor Belt (also known simply as EP Conveyor Belt) is a high-performance, multi-ply industrial conveyor belt widely used for heavy-duty, medium-to-long distance material transportation. The acronym EP stands for Polyester (E) - Polyamide (P, Nylon), referring to its unique reinforced fabric carcass.
· Carcass Material: The belt's core strength layer is woven from Polyester (PET) fibers in the longitudinal (warp) direction and Nylon (Polyamide) fibers in the transverse (weft) direction. This hybrid structure is bonded together with high-adhesion rubber skim coats.
· Cover Rubber: The carcass is protected by top and bottom rubber covers. These covers can be formulated for specific conditions:
o General Wear Resistance (for mining, aggregates)
o Heat Resistance (up to 120°C)
o Oil Resistance
o Flame Retardant
o Cold Resistance (down to -40°C)
· Layers: Typically manufactured with 2 to 6 plies of EP fabric, depending on the required tensile strength.
The EP designation is followed by a number indicating the Tensile Strength per ply (N/mm).
· Fabric Grades: EP100, EP125, EP150, EP200, EP250, EP300, EP400, EP500.
· Belt Widths: Typically ranges from 400 mm to 2,500 mm.
· Cover Thickness: Top cover (1.5–15 mm), Bottom cover (1.5–10 mm).
