Structure & Components
MWIN's corrugated sidewall belt features a three-part integrated design, bonded via high-temperature vulcanization for exceptional structural integrity:
Base Belt (Carrying & Traction Core)
- Reinforcement: Textile (polyester/nylon) or steel cord carcass, with tensile strength ranging from EP100 to ST2000 kN/m, supporting heavy loads and long conveying distances
- Rubber Compounds:
- Top Cover: Wear-resistant, impact-resistant rubber (abrasion loss: 80-250 mm³) to withstand coarse, abrasive materials
- Bottom Cover: Low-friction rubber for smooth operation on pulleys and idlers
- Edge Protection: Thickened side rubber to prevent tearing and environmental damage
Corrugated Sidewalls (Skirts)
- Design: Wave-shaped (sinusoidal, W-type) rubber sidewalls, flexible enough to bend around pulleys while forming a vertical barrier to contain materials
- Specifications: Height from 50 mm to 400 mm, thickness 6-15 mm; available in standard and high-strength grades for heavy-duty applications
- Function: Prevent lateral spillage and enable steep-angle conveying up to 90°
Transverse Cleats (Cross Partitions)
- Types: T-type, C-type, TC-type (tapered), and vertical cleats, customized for material characteristics and conveying angle
- Height: 50 mm to 400 mm, matching sidewall height to form sealed material compartments
- Bonding: Vulcanized directly to the base belt and sidewalls for high shear strength, resisting material impact and sliding
