Pulley lagging is the rubber covering bonded to the face of a conveyor pulley. It raises the friction coefficient between the pulley and the belt, which is what actually transfers drive torque: without enough friction the belt slips, the pulley glazes, and the cover rubber wears away fast. Lagging also sheds water and mud through its groove pattern, protects the pulley shell from wear and corrosion, and improves belt tracking.
MWIN supplies pulley lagging as rubber lagging sheet, as a complete cold bonding kit, or as a finished lagged pulley. Thickness from 3 mm to 12 mm, in diamond, herringbone (chevron), plain and ceramic-embedded patterns, all with a CN bonding layer so the sheet bonds reliably to the prepared pulley shell.
Higher friction, less slip — restores drive efficiency and reduces the belt tension needed to transmit torque
Water and mud shedding — grooved patterns channel water away, which is the usual cause of slip on wet outdoor conveyors
Longer pulley life — the rubber takes the wear instead of the steel shell
Better tracking — crowned or diamond-grooved lagging helps keep the belt centred on the pulley
CN bonding layer — semi-vulcanized bonding face for dependable cold bonding to the pulley shell
Supply forms to suit your site — sheet only, cold-bond kit, or finished lagged pulley delivered ready to install
